Brief History of All Saints Catholic Church

All Saints Catholic Church was established in April 1977, as a mission of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Sandy Springs, with approximately 100 founding families celebrating Mass at the Exchange Place office building. Coming together, they rallied their resources, followed their Pastor Rev. Joseph Beltran’s vision and pitched in to build our current facilities. In less than two years, on December 22, 1979, they left the Exchange Place to celebrated Mass for the first time on Mount Vernon Road, with more than 300 families registered.

When the construction for All Saints Catholic Church was completed in 1979, the Dunwoody area was still primarily farms and rural areas without the subdivision growth of the last 40 years. In fact, when the construction for All Saints Church was completed in 1979, the population of Dunwoody was 18,000.

We are grateful to our founding members who had both the foresight and generosity to provide our present structure to meet both the present and future need at that time. Though many of them have moved on to their eternal reward, we should ever keep them in our prayers and in the same spirit continue the good work, which they started some forty years ago.
