Campaign Corner - August 5, 2018


We have had some inquiries on the schedule of our construction plans. Things do not move as quickly as we sometimes would like, but I wish to inform you that while things at times are slow, they are moving forward. Below is the latest communication we have received from our architects (Smith + Boland) on July 30, 2018. Thank you for your support and your patience.


Phase I Tentative Project Dates

September 17, 2018 Finish design development set and hydrology study, landscape architect design and traffic design. Six weeks. Moving the entrance and clearing trees, require a landscape architect in this stage.

October 8, 2018 Receive and review comments from City of Dunwoody and County Departments. Since the City of Dunwoody does not have a fire or traffic department, DeKalb has to approve.

November 5, 2018 Resubmit plans to city/county and be in a position to requests quotes from construction contractors.

December 10, 2018 Archdiocese approval is required to proceed.

December 26, 2018  Earliest anticipated land disturbance permit date.


Financial Update in Mid-September

All Saints is closing out its 2017-18 fiscal year, which ended June 30, 2018. When reports are finalized, a financial report will be provided to the parish and Archbishop. An update on the campaign financial status will be included in that report.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the building fund thus far. We are continuing to receive pledge payments and new pledges. If you would like to support All Saints' capital campaign, red collection envelopes and blank pledge forms are available in the Narthex. The project will move forward as the generosity of our parish families allows.
