Summary of Feb. 5 Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting

On Thursday, February 5th, the variances for a stream buffer encroachment and an increase in the lot coverage were withdrawn from the Zoning Board of Appeals, and the board accepted that withdrawal. The reason is that the city code changed on January 26th, to allow up to 60% lot coverage, and the church no longer needed that variance. Also, the church moved a detention pond to be in a water run-off detention system under the parking lot and that eliminated the need for a stream buffer variance.

These are positive steps as we approach the next stage in the process, which is to present the master plan to the City of Dunwoody Planning Commission on Tuesday, February 10th.
